Job Description

Issue: 7/16/26 Category: FULL-TIME TEACHING POSITIONS Full-time, 29 working hours/week, 20 teaching/class hours/week, M-F (Tue/Fri are half days). From 190,000yen/month. Work as an ALT in one elementary school. Assist teachers in classrooms with teaching English, create activities/worksheets, check student work, attend English events, and help with English Club. Work location Chikuzen Town, Fukuoka Prefecture. Proper visa (Instructor, Spouse, PR - "Must have 12 years of education taught primarily in English for Instructors visa. KBS can change visa status for eligible applicants"), native level English speaker, BA/BS, International/Japanese driver's license, MS Office/Google Suite skills, and conversational Japanese ability required. Proper visa, native English speaker, TESL/TEFL/TESOL certification, experience teaching in a Japanese public elementary school or junior high school, and N4/N3 ability preferred. APPLICANT MUST CURRENTLY RESIDE IN CHIKUZEN TOWN, FUKUOKA PREFECTURE OR SURROUNDING AREA. Will sponsor or renew visa. Paid vacation, daily transportation allowance, training, and unemployment insurance. Seven-month contract, renewable once. Application deadline ASAP. Position begins September 1, 2026.
