Issue: 8/16/26 Category: PART-TIME TEACHING POSITIONS Part-time, 3-6 hours/week, Thur 9:20-12:35. 6000yen/90-minute koma. Teach English reading, grammar, listening, vocabulary, and speaking to college students (two-year vocational college) for Japanese and non-Japanese students. Grade, mark and review work. Textbook and syllabus provided. Teach two 16-week semesters, 32 teaching weeks total per year. Work location Ochanomizu, Tokyo. Proper visa, native level English speaker, BA/BS, experience teaching large groups of adult learners, experience adapting textbooks to students' needs, and experience with Google Classroom and Google Suite required. MA/Ph.D., TESL/TEFL/TESOL/CELTA certification, non-Japanese teaching license, 2-4 years experience teaching large groups of adult learners, experience teaching focused language skills (not just general English), and experience adapting textbooks to students' needs or curriculum creation preferred.
