Issue: 8/16/26 Category: FULL-TIME TEACHING POSITIONS Full-time, 23 teaching hours/week, M-F 8:40-4:00. 3,108,000yen/year. "Responsible for a combined 1st- and 2nd-grade class and will teach the core elementary subjects, including Bible, mathematics, science, language arts, social studies, art, music, and physical education. We use the American Curriculum and are WASC-accredited. This is a Christian mission school. Teachers teach Bible class and pray with the students daily." Work location Kofu, Yamanashi. Native English speaker, Elementary Education degree, and non-Japanese teaching license required. Two years experience, teaching license/certificate in elementary teaching (primary level), and WASC or IB experience preferred. APPLICANT MUST CURRENTLY RESIDE IN JAPAN. Will renew visa. University degree required for renewal or sponsorship. Paid holidays, paid vacation, social insurance, small bonuses, and raises every two years. Two- to three-year renewable Seishain contract.
